This is a statement jewelry set that was designed from a famous set worn by the Dutchess of Windsor.
Gray panther necklace with pierced earrings. They are stamped with Avon Hallmark.
Faux dark gray pearls with gold barrel closure.
Size: 19" Necklace Length
Panther: 1 1/4" × 1 3/4"
Earrings: 7/8" w x 1" drop
The Avon box may be the original box. They were stored in this box for decades.
There are no signs of wearing, and it does not appear that the earrings were ever removed from the card. We removed for detailed pictures.
Kenneth Jay Lane was an intrical part of our history. He enjoyed making exquisite designs worn primarily by the elite available to women by making them affordable.
Kenneth is no longer with us, but his role in history lives on through his designs and contributions in the jewelry industry. This is an amazing set to own or gift due to its historical value and beauty.
